Plane Crashes in Tennessee River in Knoxville Monday Night, No Injuries Reported

A small plane crashed into the Tennessee River Monday night in Knoxville.  The Knoxville Fire Department reported that the crash was near Island Home Park and the pilot was able to escape without injury.  The pilot was reportedly practicing water landings and accidentally activated the regular landing gear.  The FAA is investigating.
