We now know that there never was an active shooter Wednesday afternoon at the Sevierville Walmart and that no shots were ever fired and no one was hurt.  WVLT reports that 65-year old Pedro Salisipan Ngayan, Jr. of Pigeon Forge, was charged with two counts of aggravated assault, and 22-year old Dashawn Leon Bonner of Pensacola, Florida, was charged with one count of misdemeanor assault.   A third person was also taken into custody but police later determined that person was not part of the dispute.  According to reports, it all started when Bonner allegedly pushed Ngayan down during a dispute.  Ngayan is then accused of pointing a handgun at Bonner.  Police say Bonner attempted to ‘retreated to another location in the store’ but was followed by Ngayan. Bonner then pointed his own handgun at Ngayan.  It is still unclear why the 22-year-old Mr. Bonner pushed the elderly Mr. Nagayan or if the parties knew each other before the incident.
