Governor Bill Lee has requested President Trump to declare a State of Emergency for Tennessee to support ongoing efforts and relief in the wake of the Christmas morning bombing in Nashville.  The governor toured the bomb site Saturday morning and says he is shocked at the damaged and relieved that it appears no residents were killed in the blast.   He and First Lady Maria continue to pray for those injured.  Governor Lee says the swift action of the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department and local law enforcement saved lives and he commends their courage.  The governor is also thankful to the FBI and the ATF for leading the investigation and he remains in close communication with them.
