The Crossville Police Department, Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office, Fairfield Glade Police Department and THP District 6-Cookeville are all award winners in the Tennessee Highway Safety Office 16th Annual Law Enforcement Challenge. This year, 53 Law Enforcement Challenge applications were submitted: 17 from West Tennessee, 14 from Middle Tennessee, 11 from East Tennessee, 11 from the Cumberland Region, and one submission from each of the Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP) districts.
In the 11 to 25 Officers Category, 1st Place went to the Fairfield Glade Police Department.
In the 46 to 75 Officers Category, 3rd Place was awarded to the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office.
The Crossville Police Department won both the Seat Belts Are For Everyone (SAFE) Campaign and the Impaired Driving Awareness Award Crossville Police Department
The Tennessee Highway Patrol Districts Category 1st Place prize was awarded to THP District 6 Cookeville reporting area.
