TDOC Employee Jailed For Bringing Contraband Into Prison

A Tennessee Department of Corrections employee found himself behind bars after he allegedly tried to bring contraband into the Riverbend Maximum Security Institution.  According to reports, 26-year-old William Chamberlain was reporting for work Friday morning when he was busted at the security checkpoint with tobacco, marijuana and cash.  Chamberlain was booked into the Davidson County Jail and charged with Introduction of Contraband.  He was also fired from TDOC.
