The 2020 Governor’s Volunteer Stars Awards virtual ceremonies were held over the weekend to honor and celebrate volunteerism in Tennessee. Congratulations to Cumberland County Youth Honoree Wyatt Fairman who has been a Cumberland County Election Commission volunteer since the 2020 Tennessee primary season. Congratulations also to Cumberland County Adult Honoree Shawn Aytes who works as a Fire Life Safety Educator to teach fire safety to residents in his community. The 2020 Governor’s Volunteer Stars Awards virtual ceremonies are taking place on February 7, 2021 to honor and celebrate volunteerism in Tennessee.
