CROSSVILLE, TN – In recent ceremonies, held by the Crossville Police Department, many department members were honored with various Awards by Chief Jessie Brooks. Since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, gatherings for recognition were not possible. On Friday, March 26th and Friday April 2nd, 2021, 12 members of the department were ultimately recognized for exemplary service.

Officer Ethan Wilson – 2020 Officer of the Year, Officer of The Month June, September, October, 2020 & March 2021
K9 Officer Chrystal Massey – 2020 Officer of the Year, 2020 DUI Enforcement Award 2nd Place
Officer Nick Sherrill – 2020 DUI Enforcement 1st Place, 2020 Occupant Protection Award 1st Place, 2020 Speed Enforcement Award 2nd Place, Life Saver Award, Officer of the Month March 2021
Officer Keith Sadula – 2020 Speed Enforcement Award 3rd Place, Officer of the Month January and March 2021
Officer Joel Stevens – 2020 Occupant Protection Award 3rd Place

The dedication of all of these department members is a shining example of teamwork, community care and professionalism. All of these police professionals are to be commended and they are recognized for their extraordinary efforts with the utmost appreciation of the City of Crossville Police Department. Their individual recognition may have taken a while to be presented, but they are valued every day.
