PUTNAM COUNTY, TN – On Tuesday, April 6th, 2021 Putnam County Sheriff’s Office Deputies responded to a dispatch at approximately 10:00am to be on the lookout for a carjacking/possible kidnapping out of Cumberland County.
The subject had been dropped off at the Monterey 301 exit at the McGugin’s Shell station.
It was later learned that the subject, identified as Noah Emmanuel Hill with a Driver’s License out of Michigan, had wrecked a stolen vehicle out of Kentucky in Cumberland County near the Putnam County line. He then carjacked another vehicle with a female passenger, forcing her to drive him and drop him off to McGugin’s Shell Station in Monterey.
The subject then fled on foot from the Shell station.
Putnam County Deputies, Monterey Police Officers, Putnam County Air One, and Tennessee Highway Patrol located and arrested the subject near South Chestnut St. in Monterey.
Hill was taken to the Cumberland County Jail and charged with two counts of aggravated kidnapping with a combined bond of $750,000 and DUI with an additional $3,000 bond.
