Missing Hiker’s Dog Found; Search Continues For Missing Hiker in Rhea County’s Pocket Wilderness

Rhea County, TN Sheriff Mike Neal is asking for the public’s help in trying to locate a missing hiker in the area of Pocket Wilderness. The last time anyone had contact with Curtis Dustin Williams, of North Carolina, was Monday evening. He was with his dog who was reportedly found in a field on Thursday (5/13/21).  Officials are trying to backtrack the dog’s path and they are also using drones in the search. If anyone sees Mr. Williams please call Sheriff’s Office dispatch at 423-775-7837 or 911.  Curtis Dustin Williams was last seen wearing a maroon shirt, a North Carolina hat and shorts.
