Crossville native hoists a broom aboard USS Gerald R. Ford to signify a “clean sweep” of Sea Trials

Quartermaster 2nd Class Landon Sherrill, from Crossville, Tennessee, assigned to USS Gerald R. Ford’s (CVN 78) navigation department, recently hoistedt a broom to signify a “clean sweep” of post Planned Incremental Availability (PIA) Sea Trials, Feb. 28, 2022. Ford is underway in the Atlantic Ocean after completing the industrial portion of a six-month PIA.
