The TBI says a man who escaped from Moccasin Bend has been recaptured in Alabama. Johnny Payne had escaped from a Alabama jail, was captured in Marion County and then escaped again from Mocassin Bend. The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation said Tuesday that Payne was caught in Madison County, Alabama. Payne had been considered armed and dangerous. (Photo courtesy TBI.)
