Cumberland County students took top honors at the College, Career & Technical Education (CTE) National Competition in San Diego. The state of Tennessee had 3 teams and/or individuals who placed in the Top 3 in the United States and Martin Elementary had 2 of those. Martin Elementary student Lexi Gordon won Gold and First Place in the nation. Abby Grace Lowe, also from Martin Elementary, won Gold and Second Place in the nation.

Grayson O’Neal – Bronze
Cumberland County High School students Jordan Kerley & Kayla Hunter both won Silver.
Cumberland County Schools offers a wide range of College, Career, & Technical Education (CTE) courses. High school students are able to purse a program of study in 16 different career clusters. Students in middle school also have opportunities to engage in CTE courses in the Agriculture, Human Services, and STEM career clusters.
