During Tuesday night’s annual Excellence in Education celebration, the Tennessee Department of Education announced Dr. Rebecca Farley was chosen as the 2022-23 Middle TN Supervisor of the Year Grand Division Winner. Dr. Farley is Supervisor of Instruction for 3rd-8th Grade and Homeschool Coordinator for Cumberland County Schools.
Glenn Martin Elementary’s Mrs. Christie VanWinkle was awarded the 2022-23 Middle TN Upper Cumberland Principal of the Year Finalist.
Jody Hancock, a special education assistant at Alvin C. York Institute in Fentress County was named a 2022-23 Recognizing Inspiring School Employees (RISE) state finalist and will go on to compete against state finalists from across the country for the National RISE Award.
