On Monday, the Metro Council unanimously voted to reappoint Justin Jones to House District 52. That means Jones, who was expelled from the Tennessee House of Representatives on Friday, goes right back in. The Shelby County Commission will meet this week to consider reappointing former Representative Justin Pearson, who was also expelled from the House last Friday. Both men were ousted for violating “House Decorum” rules for speaking out of turn for gun control measures.
