The Cumberland County Commission has changed the date of the June meeting. The County Commission will now meet on Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at 6pm in the Cumberland Room at the Art Circle Public Library in Crossville. The Commission meeting was originally scheduled for Monday, June 19 but at its last meeting the Commission approved the addition of Juneteenth as a county holiday in keeping with the state of Tennessee in holidays. Juneteenth is observed on June 19 and is a federal holiday commemorating the emancipation of enslaved African Americans.
The City of Crossville will not observe Juneteenth and will be open and operating on Monday, June 19, 2023.
