Several people, including two juveniles, had to be rescued at Pocket Wilderness in Hamilton County due to raging floodwaters Sunday night.
The Dallas Bay Fire & Rescue responded with a boat to assist the Mowbray Volunteer Fire Department and State Parks crews on Montlake Road at Pocket Wilderness after two youngsters went to the Blue Hole and became trapped on the other side of the creek due to high waters. Everyone made it out safely.
