One worker is dead after a 10-foot-deep trench collapsed in South Knox County. It happened around Noon on Monday (7/10/23). Workers were installing a waterline along Berry Road when the trench caved in. The man’s body was brought out around 6:30pm. His name was withheld pending notification of family members.
