The Fentress County Sheriff’s Department has partnered with the Regional Overdose Prevention Specialist in becoming the first county to be a part of the “Leave Behind Program”. This program offers Law Enforcement Officers overdose reversal kits. These kits are provided for Fentress County Officers to leave behind for victims at the scene of an overdose. The kits were presented to Narcotics Officer Gunter and Investigator Fowler. These kits will help individuals who are at high-risk of an overdose receive resources for help.
