The Cumberland County Commission along with County Mayor Allen Foster, gave special recognition to Young Marine Gunnery Sergeant Costanza Billups during the July session of the commission. Gunnery Sergeant Billups recently attended Advanced Leadership School in San Pedro, California and placed seventh in her class of 48. The Young Marines are a national youth organization for boys and girls age eight through high school, focused on leadership, citizenship through community service, self-discipline, and living a healthy, drug-free lifestyle.
