Authorities in Cheatham County discovered a dead woman in the passenger seat of a vehicle driven by a man who was wanted in Ohio. It happened early Saturday morning. Officials say the man led police on a multi-county chase before Cheatham County deputies deployed a spike strip and stopped the vehicle in the westbound lanes of Interstate 40 near mile marker 186. The man was taken into custody. Authorities did not immediately release the names of the suspect or deceased woman. The TBI is reportedly investigating.
