The Stone Memorial High School Panthers moved up to number 6 in the state in this week’s Associated Press State Top 10 in Class 4A. Two other Region teams are in the top 10 with Upperman number 4 and Macon County in at number 10. White County, the Panthers opponent this Friday, received votes in the poll. SMHS travels to Sparta Friday (9/8) for a Region game with the White County Warriors, the kickoff is set for 7:00 and live coverage airs beginning at 6:45 on Mix 99.3.
Also, Friday (9/8) the Cumberland County Jets will play their first home game of the season, it’s Homecoming, as CCHS entertains Pickett County. Live coverage airs beginning at 6:45 on 102.5 WOW COUNTRY with the kickoff set for 7:00.
