Cumberland County Fire & Rescue reminds all kindergarten through 12th grade students that the deadline is fast approaching for submissions to the Tennessee State Fire Marshal’s Office Poster Contest. On Facebook Cumberland County Fire & Rescue said entries need to be submitted to them by October 25, 2023 and they cannot wait to see all the creativity from our K-12 students.
This year’s contest theme: “Cooking Safety Starts With You.”
Each winner will receive a Certificate of Achievement from Tennessee Governor Bill Lee, a $50 check, a prize bag, and an invitation to State Fire Marshal’s Office poster contest luncheon and awards ceremony which will be held in Nashville in February 2024.
Before you start on your poster please visit the Cumberland County Fire/Rescue Facebook page to get contest rules and instructions on how to submit your artwork. You can also find the rules on the Tennessee Department of Commerce & Insurance website.
Students are encouraged to submit their artwork to the contest through their local fire department or directly to the State Fire Marshal’s Office.
