TN State Parks Launch 10-Year Strategic Plan, Invite Public Comment, To Hold Public Meetings

On Tuesday, October 17, 2023, Tennessee State Parks unveiled a Comprehensive Strategic Plan that will guide the operation of all state parks in Tennessee for the next 10 years.  The first of the in-person meetings about the plans were scheduled for the same day (10/17/2023) at Cummins Falls State Park and Nathan Bedford Forest State Park.

According to the press release, the parks invite input from the public about their objectives. Public Comments will be accepted until November 30, 2023.

The in-person meeting for Tims Ford State Park will be held at Spencer Hall on October 19, 2023 at 5:30pm.

The in-person meeting for Rock Island State Park will be held at Cabin 10  on October 19, 2023 at 5:30pm.

The in-person meeting for Cumberland Mountain State Park will be held at the Rec Lodge on November 13, 2023 at 5:30pm.
