The Ms Senior Cumberland County Association thanks all who supported this year’s Caring For Our Veterans Food Drive. This year’s totals came to approximately 3,542 food items, making up 75 boxes weighing 2,625 lbs. The items were distributed to Veterans in need prior to Thanksgiving.

Thank you to all supporting the 2023 “Royal Duties” Veteran Food Drive
On behalf of the Ms Senior Cumberland County Association we extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone for their support of this year’s Caring for our Veterans Food Drive. Special thanks go out to Azure Flight Support (Crossville Memorial Airport) for hosting our event. Also, our 12 drop-off locations: Food City of Crossville and Fairfield Glade; Priceless IGA of Crossville; 1st National Bank of TN –downtown and Fairfield Glade; Veterans Service Office; Military Memorial Museum; Elks Lodge 2751; VFW 5025; Fair Park Senior Center; Thunderbird Recreation Center; Ace Body and Frame. A special Thank You to Crossville Wal-Mart, Crossville Food City, and each of the individuals or businesses who made cash donations. Thanks to Food City for going the extra “Mile” for supporting our shopping needs.
Thanks also to the locale CCVAC , Jack Fogel- (Cumberland County Veterans Assistant Council) for the boxes and fresh hams for each veteran box; Angie Lamie- Elks Lodge; Bread of Life veteran committee chair Larry Doster; Alan Baker –webmaster; Crossville Walmart; Good Samaritans; radio stations; Crossville Chronicle; local shops, civic organizations, Ladies Auxiliary members; Jimmy Pleasant -Quick Copy Shop; community clubs, and all veteran association members and our entire community for supporting everything from supplying promotional fliers and social media; getting the listed veterans in need lined up to receive and to those who donated and collected needed food, boxing up the food and distribution. And a special thanks to Ms. Senior Food Drive Committee. All of which is given out to our Veterans in need prior to Thanksgiving.
