Crossville City Manager Greg Wood announced the latest revenue figures during Tuesday’s session of the Crossville City Council. Sales tax collections for the latest period in September were down by about $50,000 from last year. Wood attributed this to the 3 month grocery tax holiday that ran from August through October. Wholesale beer tax collections were steady for the month, but down slightly for the year with a year to date total of $271,000. Liquor revenue is up for the fiscal year with collections at $135,000.
