Man Found Guilty in 2020 Homicide Case in Roane County

According to WVLT, District Attonrey Russell Johnson announced Sunday that a man has been convicted in a 2020 murder that took place in Roane County.

On Friday Joshua Aikens was convicted of First-Degree Murder in the death of Robert Quenton McCollough. McCollough’s mother reported him missing back in October then in December his body was found in an abandoned trailer in Oakdale, Tennessee.

Aikens has been sentenced to life in prison with the possibility of parole. District Attorney Johnson also noted that with “good behavior” credit, Aikens coould be released as early as 51 years from his initial arrest.
