Popular YouTube creator Mark “Hobo Shoestring” Nichols has been found dead after a Silver Alert was issued for him on March 31st. He was 53. Nichols’ body was found Friday by fishermen on Boone Lake in Johnson City, Tennessee. Nichols, of Johnson City, had over 200,000 subscribers on his Hobo Shoestring YouTube channel where he showed his adventures of hopping trains and riding the rails. Mr. Nichols did have known medical issues. The Johnson City Police Department is still investigating the cause of death. (Photo courtesy TBI)
