UPDATE: Crossville Walmart Re-opens Sunday Morning After Lightning Strike Shuts Down Store Saturday

The Walmart in Crossville re-opened at 8am on Sunday (5/5/24) after being shut down Saturday (5/4/24) due to a lightning strike.  Walmart posted to Facebook around 7am Saturday that their systems were down and they are not able to open the store. It also impacted their online business and some orders made Saturday morning were cancelled.  Vision and Pharmacy services were also shut down. Crossville Walmart posted an update that the lighting hit their comms and knocked both their first and secondary systems out.  Crossville Walmart said online orders will not be available until Monday, May 6.

The Walmart in Crossville was shut down Saturday (5/4/24) due to a lightning strike.  Walmart posted to Facebook around 7am that their systems were down and they are not able to open the store. It also impacted their online business and some orders made Saturday morning were cancelled.  Vision and Pharmacy services were also shut down. Around 4 pm Crossville Walmart posted an update that the lighting hit their comms and knocked both their first and secondary systems out. At 8pm Walmart gave an update that they were working to open the managed registers but the store would not be open at 6am Sunday. Crossville Walmart will not be open for Online Groceries Sunday May 5th.  Crossville Walmart appreciates your understanding and apologizes for any inconvenience this brings.
