A driver has been charged with DUI after crashing into a highway traffic sign at the eastbound 311 miler marker early Sunday morning (5/5/24). The THP says 33-year-old Kory Krivda was driving east in a 2006 GMC Yukon when the vehicle ran off the right side of the roadway, stuck a sign, traveled up a hill near the exit ramp and struck the back of a guardrail on Plateau Road. Krivda, who was not injured, was charged with Driving Under the Influence, Due Care, and Failure to Maintain Lane.
