The 2024 Tennessee Senior State Open, sponsored by Fairfield Glade, will be held on Monday, June 10, and Tuesday, June 11 for the 15th consecutive year at Stonehenge Golf Club. The 36-hole tournament welcomes 126 seniors from around the state.
Crossville’s Kip Henley is the 2023 defending champion, pulling off a one-stroke win on the 18th hole. Henley was a golf professional in Fairfield Glade in the 80’s and the original Head Professional at Heatherhurst from 1987-1998. Henley became the first amateur to win the Tennessee Senior State Open since 2015.
Six other players from Crossville will compete this year as well: Former Senior State Open Champion Kelvin Burgin, John Bradshaw, Tim Rich, Gary Sult Jr., Eddie Wyatt, and Greg Wyatt.
Other former Senior State Open champs who will compete again this year include Tim Jackson, Bill Breen, Gibby Gilbert III and Cliff Kresge.
Stonehenge Golf Club will also host the Tennessee Women’s Open Thursday, July 25 through Saturday, July 27, 2024.
