UPDATE! The teenage daughter of an East Tennessee police officer has been found safe after she was reported missing in Florida. The Pensacola Police Department said shortly before noon on Tuesday (6/11/2024) that 16-year-old Abigail Velez has been located and is safe in St. Petersburg. No criminal charges have been filed and the matter is being treated as a runaway case. The teenager has been reportedly missing after she was last seen on Thursday, June 6 at Baptist Hospital in Pensacola.

The Knox County Sheriff’s Office says 16-year-old Abigail Kate Valez was last seen Thursday (6/6/2024) at Baptist Hospital in Pensacola.
