The body of Nashville singer-songwriter Terri Lynn Kathey was found Tuesday at the Monteagle Welcome Center near Chattanooga. She was 71.
Kathey, who also went by Terri Lynn Blues, was reported missing after she did not return from making a delivery to Chattanooga on Sunday.
Kathey and her husband, Nashville drummer Kevin Kathey, own a courier service and police say the Welcome Center just off I-24 was on the way to Chattanooga.
Metro Nashville Police did not state the cause of death but indicated it is most likely from natural causes.
According to Terri Lynn Blues Facebook page, she was scheduled to appear at the International Singer-Songwriters Association Awards on August 24, 2024 in Atlanta.
