The Cookeville Police Department is asking the public for any information in the homicide of 55-year-old Rodney Morgan.
According to a press release, on October 9, 2023, at approximately 6:44am, officers responded to Skyline Drive in Cookeville regarding a single vehicle crash. Rodney Morgan, of Cookeville, was found deceased inside of the vehicle. Morgan suffered injuries consistent with an apparent gunshot wound. Before his death, Morgan was known to frequent Scooter’s Biker Bar, The 19th Hole, Bar on the Green, and Misty’s Suds and Buds.
