The second suspect in the Friday night shooting of a THP Trooper in Cookeville has been captured. The Tennessee Highway Patrol announced Monday night (7/22/2024) that Timothy L. Davis Jr. was arrested in Davidson County and transported to the Putnam County jail. He will be booked on charges related to the shooting of Trooper Adam Cothron. Just as they did when apprehending Blaze Rucker early Saturday morning in Kentucky, law enforcement placed Trooper Cothron’s handcuffs on Timothy L. Davis Jr. (Photos courtesy THP Facebook)
