FBI investigating 5th Congressional District representative Andy Ogles

U.S. Congressman Andy Ogles, on Tuesday, confirmed an FBI investigation into campaign filings. According to Ogles X account, the FBI seized his cell phone on Friday, August 2nd as part of an investigation into financial filings of his campaign. Ogles won the Republican primary the day prior to the seizure and will face off against Democrat challenger, Maryam Abolfazli. Ogles has vowed to fully cooperate with the investigation and said he was aware of the errors in the filings and is working to correct them. Ogles is from Columbia, Tennessee in Maury County and represents the 5th Congressional District. The FBI did not provide any comment on the investigation.
