Cumberland County Register of Deeds Trey Kerley reports that re-roofing is scheduled to begin on Monday, August 19, 2024 at the Cumberland County Courthouse. This will leave a portion of Thurman Avenue blocked. The Register of Deeds will continue to stay open through all the renovations. Due to all the remodeling, the elevator will remain out of order for an extended period of time.
