Men’s Basketball: The Tennessee Men’s Basketball team announced Friday that they will open up the season against the Virginia Cavaliers in the Continental Tire Baha Mar Championship. The Volunteers and the Cavaliers will tip off at 8:30 PM on November 21st, following the matchup between Baylor and St. Johns. According to Tennessee Athletics, Action will take place at the Baha Mar Convention, Arts & Entertainment Center, located on the grounds of the stunning Baha Mar resort in Nassau, Bahamas.
Softball: The back-to-back SEC Championship winning softball team has announced their fall ball schedule. Admission will be free for the fall softball games a Sherri Parker Lee Stadium and gates will open 1 hour before the first pitch. The fall schedule starts in late September, dates and times (ET) are subject to change. Soccer: From a fall softball pitch to the big orange soccer pitch, UT announced that Freshman Reese Mattern was named SEC Freshman of the Week this week. Mattern scored the game winning goal in the 64th minuet against ETSU giving the Lady Vols a 2-1 record to start the 2024 soccer season. Tennessee is back in action Sunday as they travel to North Carolina to take on Duke. The next home game for Lady Vols Soccer will be Thursday, September 5th against UCLA.
