Man Wanted for Criminal Homicide in Maury County Apprehended

The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office has apprehended Michael Van Dobbs, a Tennessee Most Wanted fugitive suspected of criminal homicide out of Maury County. Dobbs, age 48, was taken into custody at approximately 7pm Friday (September 13, 2024).

According to a press release from the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office, Dobbs, who is a suspect in the murder of 37-year-old Harold “B.J” Grisham III, had been the subject of a multi-agency search.

A citizen recognized Dobbs in the area and immediately notified law enforcement and deputies to located and apprehend Dobbs without incident.
