The Cumberland Plateau Water Authority has hired a general manager. Jeff Dyer, a former TAP Publishing employee and a graduate of Tennessee Technological University, was hired in a 5-1 vote on Monday. Board member Jeff Freitag voted against the offer of employment citing concerns in the hiring process. Freitag will be stepping down from the Authority when his term expires on December 31st, 2024. The next meeting is scheduled for December 9th at 6 pm in the 2nd floor conference room of Cumberland Medical Center.
