SUCCESSFUL CONCLUSION OF MAJOR METHAMPHETAMINE DISTRIBUTION CASE IN CUMBERLAND COUNTY
Cumberland County, TN — The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office is pleased to announce the resolution of a significant drug trafficking case involving Corey Dale Keith. This case demonstrates the diligent efforts of law enforcement to combat the distribution of methamphetamine within our community.
In July 2023, an investigation was initiated by a Cumberland County Sheriff’s Investigator assigned to AHIDTA Middle Tennessee Task Force into the activities of Corey Dale Keith, who was suspected of distributing methamphetamine in Cumberland County. The investigation revealed that Mr. Keith purchased and transported large quantities of methamphetamine back to Cumberland County for redistribution.
Mr. Keith was charged with violations of TCA 39-17-434, involving the Manufacture, Delivery, Sale, or Possession of Methamphetamine over 300 grams, a Class A felony. He was sentenced to serve eighteen years in a Tennessee state penitentiary.
Sheriff Casey Cox commended the dedication and hard work of the team involved in bringing this case to a successful resolution. The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office remains committed to maintaining the safety and well-being of the community by continuing to pursue and hold drug traffickers accountable.
