Early Morning Fire at East Tennessee Dodge Chrysler Jeep and RAM in Crossville Causes Extensive Damage to Showroom

An early morning fire at East Tennessee Dodge Chrysler Jeep and RAM in Crossville caused extensive damage to the showroom over the weekend.  The Crossville Fire Department was dispatched to the car dealership around 12:30am Sunday where they found the showroom actively burning with heavy smoke.  Firefighters quickly contained the blaze to the showroom and were able to save the rest of the building. They were on the scene for about 4 hours.  The fire appears to have started near the sales manager’s tower. The cause of the fire is still under investigation, however, it is not considered suspicious in nature.  Some vehicles were reportedly damaged and there was smoke and water damage in other parts of the building.  No injuries were reported.
