Authorities are investigating after a body was found along a road in DeKalb County Saturday afternoon (1/11/2025). Dispatch was called shortly after 1pm about the body which was near Man Hill Road in the Dowelltown area. The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Department, THP, TBI and the 13th District Attorney General ‘s Office were summoned to the scene. The body has been sent to the Medical Examiner in Nashville for identification.
