Nashville School Shooting Leaves Two Students Dead, At Least One Injured

Two students are dead after a school shooting in Nashville Wednesday morning (1/22/2025). At least one other student was injured.

According to a press release from the Metro Nashville Police Department, shortly after 11am Wednesday, a 17-year-old male student fired multiple shots in the cafeteria of Antioch High School.  Sixteen-year-old Josselin Corea Escalante was fatally wounded.  The shooter, 17-year-old Solomon Henderson, shot himself in the head and is also deceased.
