The National Weather Service (NWS) has confirmed at least five tornadoes tore through Tennessee last Thursday (2/6/25).
An EF-2 tornado touched down in Morgan County killing a mother and daughter and injuring at least three others. Officials say the Morgan County tornado in the Deer Lodge community is the first confirmed February tornado in Morgan County on record.
Twisters were also reported in Grainger, Jackson, Putnam and Overton counties, all rated at EF-1.
