Former White County Teacher Convicted of Child Sex Crimes Against Female Students

A former White County Middle School teacher has been convicted of child sex crimes against female middle school students.  On Friday (Feb. 21. 2025), Austin Damon Allen appeared before a White County Criminal Court and entered a plea of guilty to 4 counts of Rape of a Child; 2 counts of Soliciting Sexual Exploitation of a Minor; and 1 count of of Especially Aggravated Sexual Exploitation of a Minor.  At the time Allen was arrested in October 2023, he was employed as a 7th grade middle school teacher and officials say his three victims were girls who were 12 years old at the time of the crime.   Thirteenth Judicial District Attorney General Bryant C. Dunaway reports that Austin Allen was sentenced to serve a Forty-Five (45) year sentence at 100%.  He will be listed on the Tennessee Sex Offender Registry for life.
