Nineteen passengers and one worker were stranded over 65 feet in the air Wednesday night after a carnival ride malfunctioned in Erin, Tennessee. Multiple agencies responded but only the Montgomery County Fire Service’s 100-foot tower truck could reach them. Tower 17 was positioned next to the ride and utilized the bucket to rescue each of the riders and the worker. No injuries were reported, and fire personnel cleared the scene about 3 hours later.
