A Texas truck driver has been charged in the death of a woman who was found unresponsive along I-40 in Roane County last October.   Stevie Bernard Williams, age 46, of Rockwall, Texas told TBI agents that 40-year-old LaTeshia Patillo, of Arkansas, jumped from the passenger seat of his semi-truck as he was driving on I-40. Williams reportedly stopped briefly to look for the woman but after he did not see her, he drove off without calling for help.  A motorist later spotted Patillo unresponsive near the eastbound 341 mile marker. She died at UT Medical Center and an autopsy said cause of death was from several blunt force injuries.  Williams has been charged with reckless homicide and leaving the scene of an accident resulting in death. His bond was set at $100,000.
