Authorities are investigating an aggravated burglary at a residence on Westel Loop sometime between the evening of March 21 and the afternoon of March 24, 2025. Cumberland County Sheriff Deputies responded to a Westel Loop home March 24 after receiving a report of a break-in. Homeowners stated that an unknown suspect entered their residence through a rear window, which had its screen removed and was left open. A crowbar believed to have been left by the burglar was found along with a pair of latex gloves. Several high-value items were stolen, including a Kobalt miter saw and stand, a water heater, various tools, a 30-gallon air compressor, and approximately three 40-foot copper pipes. The total estimated value of the stolen items is approximately $2,200.
