As of 8pm Thursday (3/27/25), the Anderson County Emergency Management Agency reports that crews working the Beech Grove/Rocky Top wildfire continue to make progress. All fire lines have been tied into each other to help containment efforts. Current estimated acreage affected is 150 acres with 50% of the wildfire contained. The EMA said crews have made tremendous strides to help protect and ensure the safety of each and every resident and their homes that was threatened by impending flames. No evacuations had been ordered as of 8pm Thursday. Multiple fire departments, the Tennessee Division of Forestry and the Anderson County EMA have responded to fight the wildfire.
