A routine traffic stop in Putnam County resulted in a host of drug charges following a body scan of the suspect.
On Friday (March 28, 2025), Deputy Reed stopped Joshua Knight for failure to maintain lane. The search of the vehicle revealed a small amount of suspected Methamphetamine. Knight was arrested for Simple Possession and transported to the Putnam County Jail.
At the jail, Knightâs body scan came back abnormal, suggesting that foreign objects may be hidden on or inside the body. Knight was found to be in possession of more Methamphetamine, Fentanyl, Cocaine, and over $5,400 of currency on his person.
Joshua Knight was then also charged with 2 counts of Manufacture, Sell, Delivery of a Controlled Substance, Manufacture, Sell, Delivery of Methamphetamine, Fabricating/Tampering with Evidence, and Introduction of Contraband into a Penal Facility.
